Taylor is the third generation within his family to work in the insurance industry. He received his BA degree in Banking and Finance from The University of Mississippi with a minor in Insurance and Risk Management. His insurance career began in 2006 with McGriff, Seibels & Williams before returning to Mobile, AL in 2012 to join Thames Batré Insurance. He earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2008 and his Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 2014. His clientele includes marine industries, contractors, education institutions, property managers, and manufacturers. Taylor is an active member of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church, a past board member of United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile, a past board member of the Alabama Gulf Coast Association of Independent Insurance Agents, and is involved with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of South Alabama. He and his wife Lindsey have two children.
