Harry W. Mattei, CIC, CLU, best known as Bo, joined Harry Mattei Insurance, Inc. upon graduation from Louisiana State University in 1975 with a BS Degree in Risk and Insurance. He has been a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals for over 30 years and earned his Certified Insurance Counselors designation in 2001. Bo was named Thames Batré President in 1998. His major areas of expertise are in the fields of construction, non-profits and municipalities. He has served on the Board of Associated Builders & Contractors and Assurex Global. Named the 2002 recipient of the prestigious Anna S. Loding Memorial Award by the Insurance Women of Mobile, he was recognized for a lifetime of achievement in the Insurance Industry, his contributions to community and outstanding leadership qualities. As an active volunteer, Bo has enjoyed serving the community through his association with the Mobile Rotary Club, Goodwill Industries, Easter Seals of Mobile, Camp ASCCA (Camp for the Disabled), United Way, YMCA of Mobile and others.
