Allen Ladd is the fourth generation of Ladds to be a part of the Thames Batré family. A graduate of Washington & Lee University in 1990, Allen was a Commercial Lines Underwriter with Continental Insurance in Atlanta from 1990 – 1994 before joining Thames Batré and becoming a partner in 1998. He received his designation as Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriters Society in 1998. Participating in both industry and community organizations, Allen is past Chair of the United Way of Southwest Alabama, Goodwill Easter Seals of the Gulf Coast and United Cerebral Palsy. Allen also serves on the boards of UMS-Wright Preparatory School, Mobile ARC, Mobile Infirmary Association, USA Mitchell College of Business Advisory Council and MarSpec Technical Products, Inc. Allen is a past president of the Rotary Club of Mobile. He and his wife Jan McAleer have three children.
